Suppressor Purchase Process
Shipping to your FFL
- Step 1: Purchase your suppressor via our online store
- Step 2: We will obtain a copy of your FFL’s licenses
- Step 3: We then submit a dealer-to-dealer transfer through the ATF, known as a Form 3
- Step 4: Once the Form 3 is approved, we can then ship the suppressor to your FFL, where they will facilitate the paperwork process with you

In Store Pickups
- Step 1: Purchase your suppressor in store or through our website
- Step 2: Obtain fingerprints & pictures
- Online purchasers: Call the store to schedule an appointment to obtain fingerprints/photo
- In-store purchasers: We will make an appointment at the time of purchase to obtain fingerprints/photo.
- Step 3: Submit ATF Form 4
- Individual: Bring yourself and a valid Michigan driver's license to the scheduled appointment; be prepared to pay the ATF $200 for the tax stamp towards the end of the appointment. A credit/debit card is required for the tax stamp payment.
- Trust: Have a trust created; we recommend 199trust.com. After the Trust is completed, be sure to have it notarized. Settlor and any Co-Trustees will have to be present for the appointment with their valid Michigan driver's licenses. Be prepared to pay the ATF $200 for the tax stamp towards the end of the appointment. A credit/debit card is required for the tax stamp payment.
- Step 4: Patience. Please refer to the ATF estimated approval times on their website. Wait times vary, and some can be substantially shorter, some being substantially longer. ATF Processing Times
- Step 5: Approval! Time to enjoy it! You will receive a phone call from Not Just Guns to come pick up your new suppressor or SBR. Take it home and enjoy!
