The Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) model 1918 was developed by John M. Browning in 1917. Approximately 350,000 were produced through the end of World War II. Ohio Ordnance Works, Inc. produces a semi-automatic reproduction (M1918A3, based on WWII version) of this venerable design so that you can own a piece of history. The only one of it’s kind in production anywhere in the world, it is manufactured with some of the original USGI WWI and WWII parts. The 1918A3-SLR features bipod, carrying handle, bolt hold open device, web sling, magnet and field stripping and cleaning DVD.
